WHAT WE DO

The Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation was established to support the work of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission in the preservation and improvement of wild species and their habitats, improving quality and access to natural areas and providing for future generations’ enjoyment of the outdoors.

THE MISSION

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s mission can be broken into three main objectives: enhance Arkansas’s fish and wildlife and their habitats; promote sustainable and responsible access to public lands; and connect Arkansans with outdoor recreation opportunities in their own communities. This approach has shaped the three pillars of Leaving a Legacy: Habitat, Access and Recreation. Leaving a Legacy supporters have the opportunity to designate how their contributions aid the Commission in the achievement of the goals in each pillar.

ARKANSAS GAME AND FISH FOUNDATION IN ACTION

EXPLORE OUR WORKS

In addition to our own programs, Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation stands ready to support existing programs within the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. A portion of the money we raise every year goes to help support such things as shooting sports, fishing events and even the state’s wonderful nature centers. These initiatives, as well as many other special projects, has made AGFF an active partner in helping promote the outdoors to all Arkansans.

GET IT FOR GAME WARDENS

Get It for Game Wardens is an initiative established by the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation to support the state's game wardens, providing essential equipment and resources not covered in the annual budget.

ARKANSAS OUTDOOR SOCIETY

As a member-led non-profit associated with the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation, the Arkansas Outdoor Society engages outdoor enthusiasts by hosting exclusive events to get people unplugged and outdoors.

ARKANSAS YOUTH SPORT SHOOTING PROGRAM

The Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation holds an agency endowment with MidwayUSA Foundation and relies on this annual funding to assist youth shooting programs across the state! To date, we have received over $153,000 in cash grants and that is critical to accomplishing our mission.

Have you ever considered competing in the Olympics or a national shooting championship? This program from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission could be a start.

Help us continue to invest in the next generation of Arkansas outdoorsmen and women through youth shooting sports! Click the link below for more information on the program or to contact us to setup a planning meeting!

ARKANSAS DUCK STAMP PROGRAM

THE PROGRAM

For many, the purchase of a duck stamp is a mere requirement to duck hunt in Arkansas. Stamps are purchased every year by waterfowl hunters, many times when renewing their annual hunting license. The stamps are a very important source of funding for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission; millions in revenue from the stamp have been earmarked by the agency for waterfowl research and to preserve and acquire land for the safe refuges for the state’s abundant wildlife. The stamps tell stories of Arkansas’s rich waterfowl heritage - steeped with memorable scenes depicting legendary bayous and flooded timber holes to prized Labrador retrievers to magnificent sunrises over an iconic flooded rice field. It is in this realm that the artworld meets the waterfowler, and the passion that drives the Arkansas Waterfowl Stamp Program to create memories for future waterfowl enthusiasts to come. Save your stamps!
